Dr. Nina Corlett (PhD)
Founder and Director of Sacred Pathways Counselling
Dr. Nina Corlett (PhD) is a compassionate and caring Certified Practicing Counsellor, Dementia Doula, Chaplain and Educator. Nina’s diverse career has centred on empowering people to be agents of change in their own lives and stories.
Nina is highly qualified and uniquely skilled, with her own lived experience of trauma and healing. She works in a trauma informed manner, providing a safe and supportive environment for her clients. With a Masters in Counselling Practice, Nina’s therapeutic approaches include Narrative Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She specialises in working with families living with dementia, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, and trauma. Face to face and telehealth appointments are available for individuals, couples and small groups.

Nina works within her local community and is passionate about increasing awareness of the benefits of counselling at a broader level. Nina is currently the Convenor of the South Australian Branch of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). In her spare time, she composes music and has several releases online. She is a Choir Director to a local choir, loves escaping with a good book, walking and being connected to nature, and values time with her friends. Nina is mum to three resilient and courageous young adult children and loves watching their stories unfold.
